A very small group traveled in August, 2015 to handle some administrative and building tasks since the facility’s recent opening. The first task included getting the generator, getting it hooked up to the building, the main power supply, and a transfer switch, and building a housing for the generator. Additionally, two refrigerators were purchased: one to store medications and a dedicated one to store vaccines. These were also installed and began their qualification process. Some rearranging was done to the rooms inside the building, and the staff were given additional training in the way of record keeping, emergency procedures, and managing inventory. Other general tasks were also completed to help facilitate the operations and flow now that the clinic is actually operating. The staff were very encouraged by the group’s visit.
