A small group traveled to Gatamaiyu, Kenya, to do more specialized construction work on the interior of the building.  The focus of the trip was preparing the inside of the building for electric and plumbing. Prior to the group’s arrival, the church completed the roof of the section of the second story that was built during the February trip.  After deciding the placement of outlets and sinks, the group was able to drill grooves for the conduit and water pipes and drill the drainage holes. The work went much faster than then Kenyan workers would have expected because the group carried a number of power tools to use for the job.  This trip lasted just about 10 days, and by the end, all wires were in place and run through the conduit and all plumbing lines were in place.
